1. Login to the Client Area to download WHMCS Proxy Manager Package.

2. Go To My Products & Services then select the corresponding package then download WHMCS-Proxy-Manager.zip package from the client area.

3. You need to upload the package to your servers WHMCS plugin folder path (upload the entire ZIP package to your server but do not unpack it first on your PC and then re-upload to the hosting server), and it’ll be similar to “/whmcs/modules/addons/” or ”/your-whmcs-folder/modules/addons/” after unpacking the zip file there must be a folder and it’ll be created inside ”/whmcs/modules/addons/” and now it’ll looks like ”/whmcs/modules/addons/proxy_manager/”

4. After unpacking the ZIP file to the correct path you need to open  ”/whmcs/modules/addons/proxy_manager/settings.php” and then Edit the first 2 lines after you see “<?php” and they must match exact server root path on your server, an example is below:

You’ll find below first 2 lines inside settings.php

$rootpath = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].”/”;
$whmcsfolder = ‘whmcs’;

Edit and replace:

$rootpath = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].”/”;

With

$rootpath = “/your_server_path_to_the_root/”;

Edit and replace:

$whmcsfolder = ‘whmcs’;

With

$whmcsfolder = ‘your_whmcs_folder_name’;

5. Now you may login to your WHMCS admin area of your website and then go to Setup >> Addon Modules Menu and find the module named  >> Proxy Manager then click “Activate”

6. After the above step again Got To >> Proxy Manager in the Addons Modules Page and click “Configure” now you’ll see a text box where you can enter the WPM Licence Key information and then also select “Access Control” “Administrator” and any other privilege group you want and then click the “Save Changes” button, now you’re ready to use Proxy Manager and it’ll appear under the “Addons” Menu.
